What should the board see before every meeting?

A board of directors dashboard built from your own numbers: the indicators your board actually governs by, on one live page, each figure checked at its source. For nonprofits, companies and foundations. Remote, fixed scope.

What you get.

The indicator set

What the board actually governs.

We select your 12 to 20 indicators with you, drawing on recognised governance guidance and regulator checklists rather than whatever your systems happen to export. For Canadian nonprofits that means sources such as Institute of Corporate Directors guidance and CRA compliance requirements.

The board view

One page, current, readable.

A dashboard a chair can read in ten minutes: finances, compliance, performance and risk, with each measure tied to the decision it supports. One idea per chart, the headline states the finding.

The source stamp

Every number says where it came from.

Publisher or system, date and owner sit under each figure, so a director can challenge any number and get an answer. Boards govern on trust; the stamp is what earns it.

The meeting rhythm

Refreshed before every board meeting.

Buy the standard build once and your team maintains it, or take the managed version on subscription and we refresh, check and annotate it ahead of each meeting.

The executive view

Leadership sees more. The board sees what matters.

A separate executive dashboard for the senior leadership team is available. Board and management views stay deliberately distinct, because governing and managing are different jobs.

How it works.

AI explores, humans decide
Step 01

Start with the decisions

We write down what your board must decide and oversee this year. Indicators follow decisions, never the other way round.

Step 02

Map the sources

We trace where each candidate number lives, how fresh it is and who owns it, and note what your data cannot yet show.

Step 03

Build and check

AI does the heavy lifting of pulling and comparing. A person checks every figure against its source before a director sees it.

Step 04

Run the first meeting on it

We walk your board through the view, tune the indicators, and agree the refresh rhythm.

Who it is for: boards, chairs and executive directors who get a 40-page pack the night before the meeting and still cannot answer the question that matters: are we on track, and where must we act?

Board dashboards, in plain words.

What is a board of directors dashboard?
A single, regularly refreshed page of the indicators a board governs by: financial health, compliance, performance against strategy and key risks. It replaces long board packs as the first thing directors read, so meeting time goes to decisions rather than to finding the numbers.
What should be on a board dashboard?
Only what the board governs: cash and reserves, budget versus actual, compliance and filing status, progress on strategic goals, and the top risks with their direction of travel. As a rule, 12 to 20 indicators. Operational detail belongs on the executive dashboard, not in front of the board.
How is this different from the dashboard in our CRM?
CRM dashboards show what one system happens to record, and boards govern more than one system. We start from governance duties, combine the sources that matter, check figures by hand and stamp each with its origin. The result is built to be read by directors, not by database administrators.
Do you work with nonprofit boards?
Yes, nonprofits are a core sector for us, including Canadian nonprofit boards, where we draw on Institute of Corporate Directors guidance and CRA compliance requirements. The same build serves companies and foundations with their own indicator sets.
Is it a one-off purchase or a subscription?
Both exist. The standard build is a one-off your team maintains. The managed version is a subscription where we refresh, check and annotate the dashboard before every board meeting, with tiers by indicator count. Pricing on request.
What data do you need from us?
Aggregated exports from the systems you already run: accounts, filings, program or sales figures. No identifiable individual data. What is shared, where it is held and who sees it is written down before work begins.

Your data stays yours.

No identifiable data leaves your systems: we work from aggregated exports, groups and totals, never individuals. Never used to train AI models. What is shared, where it is held and who sees it is written down before work begins, and working copies are deleted on request.

Ethical AI, in writing.

A named person signs off before anything reaches you. Numbers come from sources, never from the model. We say where AI was used, and what the data cannot show. No invented numbers, no invented people.

Your board deserves better than a 40-page pack.

Fixed scope, remote, standard or managed. Pricing on request.
