Data Sources and Disclaimer

Last updated: 17 October 2026

B4A Data & AI Playground turns official public statistics into charts, cards and short stories. We do this in the public interest, so more people can see, understand and question the numbers that shape their studies, work and lives.

Where our data comes from

Every figure we publish comes from an official public source, such as Eurostat, the European Commission, the OECD, the UK Home Office, Statistics Canada and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Each story names the original publisher, the dataset, the time period and a link to the source. We reuse this data under the open licences those publishers provide, and we follow their attribution terms. The licences we rely on are listed at the end of this page.

B4A Data Hub city cards

The B4A Data Hub puts official figures for London, Dubai, New York, Paris, Madrid, Sydney, Toronto and Los Angeles into side-by-side city cards. Everything on this page applies to the cards too. These points are specific to them.

  • Publishers. Each figure names its publisher and period beside it. We draw on national and city statistics offices, city governments, transport authorities, airports and tourism boards and, for restaurant counts, the MICHELIN Guide. Where an official figure was reported through a named news outlet or a published survey, the card says so.
  • Gaps. Where no official figure is available yet, the card says “Coming next” instead of showing an estimate.
  • Definitions differ. Cities count things differently, for example residents, expatriates or foreign-born people. Read the note beside each figure before you compare. The Compare view puts numbers side by side and never ranks cities.
  • B4A calculations. Shares, differences, distances between cities and local times are our own calculations, and the cards label them.
  • Maps and weather. Our maps are simplified drawings that show where cities are. They are not for navigation. Weather figures are long-run averages for the period named, not a forecast.
  • Prices, dates and events. Fares, fees, opening dates and event dates can change. Check the official website before you book or travel. The official links on each card open pages we do not control.
  • Sponsors. If a tourism board or another partner ever sponsors a card, we will label it clearly as sponsored.

What we change, and what we don’t

We never invent or alter source figures. Where we add totals, percentages, rankings or comparisons, we label them “B4A calculation”. Our charts, designs, text and any translations are our own work and our own interpretation. They do not represent the official view of any publisher.

No endorsement

Build 4 Abundance is independent. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any organisation whose data we use. We name them only to credit them as the source, and we do not use their logos. The original publishers are not responsible for our use of their data or for any changes we have made.

Accuracy and limits

Official data can be revised or corrected after we publish. Every dataset has limits, and each story explains what the data does not show. We check our work carefully, but we cannot guarantee it is complete or free of errors. Please check the original source before relying on any figure. If you spot a mistake, email contact@build4abundance.com and we will correct it promptly and say so publicly.

Not advice

Our content is for general information and education only. It is not legal, immigration, financial, investment, tax, travel or career advice. Visa and permit figures describe past decisions across large groups of people. They do not predict the outcome of any individual application. For your own situation, speak to a qualified professional or the official authority.

Our sister practice

Some pages about studying, visas or moving abroad link to New Life Europe (newlifeeurope.com), a relocation guidance practice run by the same founder as Build 4 Abundance. We say so wherever the link appears. The statistics on our pages are the same whether or not you use New Life Europe, and the link does not change what we publish.

Privacy

We use only aggregated, published statistics. We never publish information about an identifiable person. How we handle your own data when you visit or contact us is explained in our Privacy Policy.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help with research, design and drafting. A person checks and approves key figures and charts before they are published.

Sharing our work

You are welcome to share our charts with credit to “B4A Data & AI Playground, build4abundance.com” and to the original source. Any data you download from our data page remains subject to the original publisher’s licence.
