Twenty-eight percent.

Salesforce State of Sales found sales reps spend only 28% of their week selling. The rest goes on admin, data entry, deal management and meetings. The same report found 66% of reps say they are overwhelmed by the number of tools they use.

We have spent 25 years in business development and partnerships. Different industries, same routine: who do I follow up with, with what, by when?

Where it breaks

  • You enter the same thing twice. Once in the CRM. Once in an email. Once in a note to yourself.
  • The tools do not talk. The CRM, your inbox, your calendar and your AI assistant each know a piece. None sees the whole.
  • The pipeline report tells you what happened. It does not tell you what to do this morning.
  • Deals go quiet and nobody notices. Until the quarter ends.

What we are building

B4A is not another CRM. Your CRM stays the one place you enter data. We add a decision layer on top of it.

The layer reads your CRM, and it does four things.

  • Flags deals that have gone quiet.
  • Suggests the next step for each opportunity.
  • Prepares a draft message for you to review and send. You always send. We never send for you.
  • Gives you a weekly view that shows what changed.

Show and tell: a sample pipeline view. Contacts and numbers are illustrative.

We are building the first version to work inside the tools your team already has, starting with the free Basic tier of Microsoft Copilot, because most employees only have that. Your data stays in your own environment, and we use no client data in unapproved tools.

Three habits that help today, with any tool

  • Write the next step on every opportunity. No next step means no deal.
  • Set a quiet for 14 days rule. Flag it, then decide: follow up or close it.
  • Use AI for drafts, never for sending. Read every line before it goes.

Why we are building it

Because the people who sell should spend their week with customers, not with software.
